Brantley Milford - Owner

Brantley is a fourth-generation cattle farmer and relocated the Milford Family Farm from Cumming, GA to Talking Rock, Ga in the summer of 2021. History and family heritage are very important to Brantley this is one of the reasons for the name of our wedding venue. Brantley along with his wife Allison sees to the day-to-day operations of the farm and venue along with its many activities. He also enjoys collecting antiques like tractors and has an extensive collection of 80’s GIJOES, he also enjoys fishing.

Allison Milford The Heritage at Milford Family Farm Director

Allison Milford - CoFounder/ Operations Director

Allison oversees every operation pertaining to the farm, the Heritage, and our home. Allison is also active in the community of Gilmer county as a CASA volunteer and other volunteer services in the community. Allison works in every capacity of our farm and home life and is known mostly by all as she is usually the one most of our visitors and vendors have talked to. Allison is a certified event and wedding planner obtained thru the University of Georgia’s continuing education program. Allison’s interests include traveling, meeting new people, gardening, and spending time with her children and husband.

Mallory Milford The Heritage at Milford Family Farm CFO

Mallory Milford - CFO/Event Cordinator

Mallory is the daughter of Brantley and Allison. Mallory helps Allison in many operations of the farm, venue, and their home. Mallory has spent over 100 hours of mentoring by one of the top industry venue owners in the nation. She assists in design, decorating, and coordination, and also maintains the website system of our venue. Mallory just graduated college with a degree in health sciences and has recently re-enrolled in school to earn her bachelor’s degree. Mallory is also a Gold Presidential service award recipient and has a resolution in the state senate of Alabama for her volunteerism history. in 2016 Mallory was Miss USA Teen Georgia’s Top 15. Mallory’s interests include her new puppy Duke who is a chocolate labradoodle, she enjoys shopping, traveling and coaching those in the Miss America and Miss USA pageant system, and spending time with her family and friends.

Jackson Milford - Maintenance Director

Jackson is the youngest child of Brantley and Allison. Jackson along with Brantley maintain the grounds and maintenance of the farm, event venue, and the home. Jackson also is a septic system installer and installs underground gas lines. He also owns his own companies Milford Septic and underground services and Between the Hedges Landscaping. Jackson is an amazing young man. We are so blessed and he is a huge part of the Heritage at Milford Family Farm and has accomplished so much at such a young age. Jackson’s interests include anything to do with hunting. He is an avid hunter, his favorite is waterfowl hunting and has traveled thru Arkansas, North Dakota, Oklahoma and many other states waterfowl hunting. He enjoys spending time with his dog Smokey who is an American Water Spaniel. Jackson also enjoys traveling and spending time with his girlfriend of 2 years, Katlyn.

 
 

Katlyn Ash The Heritage at Milford Family Farm Designer

KATLYN ASH - ARTIST/DESIGNER

Katlyn is such a great asset to our family, farm, and venue. Katlyn is an extremely talented artist. She loves all things art and can paint and draw almost anything we ask her to. She helps design and create many things within the farm and venue. Katlyn is a student herself in college and a substitute teacher for Gilmer County, prior to that she was a school bus monitor for Forsyth County for 3 years for students with special needs. Katlyn was awarded with perfect attendance during her time with Forsyth County Schools. Katlyn enjoys spending time with Smokey and her dog Maisie, she also enjoys traveling, doing crafts, and spending time with Jackson her boyfriend of 2 years.

Our family pets are so important to all of us!

Clockwise:

Smokey: He is Jackon’s Dog, and is an American Water Spaniel. He loves going duck hunting with Jackson and is so loving to everyone.

Remi: Remi is our red tick beagle, he is 7 years old and loves greeting others! He is a little shy, but if your lucky, he will roll right over and let you give him a belly rub!

Toto: He is our 13 year old Yorkie and loves everyone, he barks at any new person, but can be directly picked up and petted and he will be your new best friend. He likes to be the boss to all the other dogs :) Toto Lives With Nana And Papa John John a mile from the venue! He is a companion for them both and Papa John John loves taking Toto for walks!

Duke: He is a 6 months old Labradoodle and is Mallory’s puppy. He is so loving and loves to be cuddled.

Moose: Moose is a 5-year-old English Bulldog. He is most loved by Allison :) He loves people, and don’t let his chubby appearance surprise you, he loves jumping and gets very excited when new visitors visit. He is a wrinkly, snoring, bulldog but loves everyone! He is a true Georgia Bulldog fan and says Go Dawgs!
